The R.M. will attend a grass or residential fire within its boundaries and the cost of the truck will be covered by the R.M. In the event the R.M. doesn’t attend a fire within its boundaries, the R.M. will pay for the first fire truck responding. Any additional trucks attending a grass or residential fire will be at the expense of the land/home owner. Any fire trucks attending an oilfield-related fire within the R.M. will bill their costs directly to the oil company. Check with your insurer to make sure your fire insurance is adequate.
