The Scout Hut was originally the home of the R.M. of Oakdale No. 320 office. After the R.M. moved to its present location, it was decided to let nonprofit groups have the use of the old office. The Boy Scouts were one such group that gave the building its new name.

Currently Playschool, a pre-school program, uses the Hut on Tuesday & Thursday mornings. If another group is interested in using the hut, contact the R.M. office at the above number.
